Rachel Mushahwar is the Vice President of IS Global Enterprise Applications for PetSmart. She is passionate about delivering shareholder value and driving business results through innovative use of technology and ongoing development of talent. She is accountable for developing, aligning, planning, delivering and supporting the Supply Chain, Merchandise, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Legal, and Charities technology both domestically and internationally to enable business growth targets. Mrs. Mushahwar has been with PetSmart for 8 years in a variety of leadership roles. She began her career as an engineer, and quickly turned to consulting for broader learning opportunities. She has held leadership positions for several large Fortune 100 firms and has over 18 years of broad, global industry leadership with experience in building, leading and executing $20+million dollar IT Business Operations, IT Services, Application Teams, Off Shore Teams, Strategic Business Alignment, and Program Management Delivery Organizations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia.

Mrs. Mushahwar has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and also received her MBA in International Business (both Summa Cum Laude). She is a founding board member and President of the PetSmart’s W.I.S.E. forum (Women Inspiring Strength and Excellence) which is an organization committed to creating moments that connect, inspire and support the betterment of women at PetSmart and the communities they are part of. She spends time at Arizona State supporting Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and is active participant on their “older generations” panel. Additionally, she is on the Steering Committee of the Women’s Leadership Council United Way and works to understand critical social issues affecting the Phoenix metro area and actively works to create a lasting change in the Valley. She is an avid golfer, hiker, reader, traveler, and a mother of 4 children under 8.
