Teresa Dean Malcolm, MD, FACOG, MBA, CPE is a graduate of Tulane University, School of Medicine. She completed her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated from the Phoenix Integrated Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Malcolm joined Banner Health in 2008, serving women in the Northwest Valley at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center and the Surprise Health Center. She is a board certified OBGYN and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. With a sincere belief that each woman has a unique need and deserves compassion and respect, Dr. Malcolm emphasized providing clear explanations of tests, diagnoses and therapies during her years of clinical practice.
Dr. Malcolm’s journey in healthcare has transcended direct patient care to becoming a physician leader where she can make a difference in the lives of many and the organization as a whole. She is the Chief Medical Officer at Banner Boswell Medical Center and a certified physician executive who applies the principles of trust, kindness and lifelong learning to promote quality and clinical care delivery improvement along with her colleagues.
In addition to her roles within Banner, Dr. Malcolm is a proud mother of three boys, and a wife of thirteen years to her loving husband. She relishes spending quality time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys reading and pushing herself to the limit in a rigorous workout.
